    Considering a move to the DFW area. If you live there, what are the best neighborhoods i.e. Highland Park, Southlake, Westlake???

    In Austin Now, did live in Southlake - it is a wonderful area and close to DFW for travel.

    I would highly recommend it.

    Depends on what you are looking for / price point / etc
    " Best " for the money or " Best , price is no object "

    Highland Park / University Park ( Old Money w. new mixed in )
    Preston Hollow ( New-er Money , lots of new construction - homes )
    Southlake/West lake/Keller/North Grapevine ( Lots of road construction )
    Downtown @ Azure or The W ( For in the city feel )

    Happy to discuss if you want. Send me a pm. Grew up in Dallas and worked there for 30 years. Highland Park or University Park if you need good public schools, Preston Hollow if you want a big lot. Some suburbs nice, some not so nice. Nice ones have new, big houses, smallish lots, unless you spend $$$$.
