Dude - how do you go online on the PS2?

 

there is a network adapter that goes on the back then u plug an ethernet cable in and ur good to go. Doesnt cost u a penny

 

Except for the 50 dollar network adapter you just bought.

 

10 bucks for me, no monthly fee.

 

I would rather have to pay $50 a YEAR for Xbox live, then use that crapy online thing PS2 has...

Is there a lot of online players for the PS2? i cant decide wether to go PS2 or X-box?

The only advantage PS2 has on Xbox is timing. PS3 will soon come out and everyone will buy it. Soon after Xbox 2 will come out but by that time everyone allready has a PS3.

 

What do the PS3 and Xbox replacments have to do with whether to buy a PS2 or Xbox?

 

Well... think about it this way. PS2 came out a year before Xbox did and most people had a PS2 by the time Xbox was allready out. So if more people have PS2, more games will come out on PS2 and more and more people will buy a PS2 because there is a HUGE selection of games on it. Same thing will happen with Xbox 2 and PS3 unless Microsoft comes out with Xbox2 the same time Sony comes out with PS3

X2 will come out before PS3, Sony is tryin some trippy **** on their next console and they don't expect it till late 06. 05 might be for Xbox 2. We'll see, MS has been working on X2 for a long time.
