A F50 customer of ours wants to use a Hill Engineering shift gate on his F50. Does anyone have a close up photo of an F50 shift gate? Owner does not have the car with him and due to language issues, I figured its easier to post a request here.

These are photos of the Hill gate we got from Ricambi. Daniel did advise us that he had no idea if it would work.

I'm trying to determine if we send it as is or if we need to have it machined.

so looking at the photos, it could be locked in second gear (without modifying the HE piece) or we'd have to lop off some of the lower right corner to get it into reverse and be safe that the block is not too wide.

    Thanks for the shots!

It really is not going to fit very well as it was designed for a 5 speed gate. I have both the HE piece and an F50 and do not use it on this car. With the six speed gate, you would be able to get a bar under it and pry it off (and make a complete mess of things).

So would a 6speed version of the lock work do you think?

I'm not sure. The car is in Europe so things might be a little sketchier over there. When one of our good customers ask us to find something or do something for them, we are happy to help.
