Had my wonderful dad translate it for me, he's fluent in 3 languages: According to him, the guys seem to say the following: Un, deux, trois, Mais oui, il a pu tenir bon. x2 Il a fait pour nous des merveilles. x2 The translation is: One, two, three, Oh yes, it has hold on good. x2 It has done us marvels. x2 Note: the 2nd line is just 98% I could discern the voice to fit the plausible vocabulary they seemed to express. In actual fact, it is some light-hearted humor on a very often quoted phrase form the liturgy in catholic churches that we have all heard as kids: "le Seigneur est bon, il a fait pour nous des merveilles"...in some way, it is of the same vein/range as that famous phrase in "The Blues Brothers": "the Lord has mysterious ways"...
