Robin, how complete is your service manual? I have an electronic copy of one but it seems to be missing a lot of the photos. The manual will reference Diagram A or Photo B but there isn't anything there for about 50% of the procedures.

    Hey peter,
Mine seems pretty complete. It’s over 1000 pages, and I’ve not seen any “missing” parts so far.

By the way, I got mine from Jason of Royal Autowerks. Fully recommend d his services if you’re in the Kansas City area!

A second thumbs up for Jason in Kansas City. He is terrific. He is incredibly knowledgeable (he rescued a waterlogged 612 and restored it a few years ago) and he is willing to freely give his own time in helping others.

Mine was sent to be free of charge by a fellow F-Chatter. It's an electronic version and has 1,026 pages. Just missing a lot of the diagrams or photos referenced in the text.

For example in Section A3.12 dealing with replacing the timing belts, it will give the steps and references various number corresponding to the steps however there is no diagram or photo where those numbers are represented.
