I saw the 11/12 issue on a mag rack for $20. Anyone know if this is a good magazine (good content choices, detailed, current, etc)?

I was given a one year subscription in 2011. Tried for a couple of issues to understand it but it was way over my head. The mag seemed well produced and of high quality so I dutifully kept all the issues thinking one day I might be smarter on the subject--- finally gave up, but still kept them. One day on a lark a threw a few in my car knowing I be driving by Ferrari mechanic's shop. I gave them to him with a "maybe you'll find these of interest". Next time I saw him, he thanked me profusely saying how invaluable they were. Said he'd been up most of one night because he couldn't but them down. He had also shown them to a fellow mechanic and he to thought they were the greatest magazine they'd ever see in the arena. He started a subscription for himself.
    Hope this helps

Sounds like the experience I've had with the one issue. Add another expensive mag to the queue . . .

    I appreciate your time.

My mechanic also commented on the high subscription price but felt it well worth the cost given the type information and ideas he was getting. He mentioned that there were a number of publications he was getting that were less expensive but where he was lucky to find one new idea every now and then. I wasn't aware of the price since I'd received it as a gift. Just saw him again this week and took him some more back issues I'd found---even though they were nearly two years old he still seemed excited to get them.
