Thinking of ordering a car in "Nuovo Blu Pozzi" as I like dark blue. But "Blu Tour de France" is a metalic color and may show the lines of the car better. I'm just worried it might be too light-colored.

Anyone else made this kind of decision want to give me advice?

    Thanks

    Tom

Yes, I spent a lot of time thinking about this. Go with Blu Tour de France-- I've seen both side by side, and I much prefer the metallic look to the "flat" look of Pozzi.

I had a pozzi blue 355 prior to this one - I thought it was a great color and showed the lines of the car nicely. *However*, it was (IMO) worse than black to keep clean! Never again!

Dunno if TDF is any easier, but I do know PB *sucked* from that perspective.

    My 02c,
    Cheers,
    Ian

I have TdF on my 550 and it suits the car perfectly, accentuating the lines with some subtle shifts depending on the lighting. What I prefer about TdF as opposed to Pozzi is that TdF retains more "blueness," appearing blue in almost any light. I don't think it ever gets "too light." Pozzi, on the other hand can look almost black at times.

I think the color choice can depend on which car you are acquiring. I had Blu Pozzi on my 355 and thought it was great. I did same on a 360 and it just did not work out as well. The Tdf seemed to better accentuate the curves of the 360.

+1000 on the upkeep. Blu Pozzi is a bear to keep clean. And like black any stone chip jumps out at you like a beacon.

Good feedback, anyone know if TdF suffers from "spiderweb" swirlies and hard water marks issues like black cars do?

I had a black car once. Everyone has a black car... once. :)

Not to the same extent as Pozzi. Even nero daytona hides dust/swirls much better than flat nero.

Both colors are absolutely gorgeous. Get the chance to seem them both.

If you want to show off the curves of the car more, metallics work better for that, so the choice would be TdF. Pozzi is a lot more subtle as it's not a metallic. Having seen both on actual cars, I'd go with TdF but it's highly a matter of personal preference.

Chiaro Blue. I've seen a 355 in this color and it is absolutely fantastic! I'd take it over TDF any day.

Having had taught for over a decade at a rival of UNC's, I still can't stomach anything close to "Carolina Blue"

I love both blues so either one is a good choice for me.

BTW - I'm on my second black car. I'm not that smart ;)

Owned a Pozzi 360--liked the color, but it was a bear to keep clean. If I were to search for another 360, I'd be going for TdF.

TDF is more common... for me... even though I like it... I wouldn't order it. Id buy it off the lot, but I wouldn't order it.

They are both very nice. BP is very dark and TdF a little on the light side. Too bad they don't make Blu Medio Metallico anymore (that's what my 328 GTS is), because that seems "just right".

I happen to like BP a little more than TdF, but we're talking about two great colors on a car with great lines.
