    I have been going to Auto Elite for years, I also go to Imported cars in Stamford , CT and also Nastasi Racing in LIC. There is also the Dealer WWOC in Spring Valley and the dealer in Long Island.

    The best without a doubt - I am a 10+ year customer, with many cars including Dino, 365gt, 365BB (bill is rebuilding engine as we speak) 400i (daily driver, bill put four blizzak snows on for me) etc.

    Do you have contact info for Auto Elite? I did a search on the net and can't find them. "AutoELite.com" doesn't work, and "AutoElite.net" is an car sales site from Italy. Searched through the archives too - they are referenced a lot but I couldn't find any contact, phone, address, or web site info.

    Vinny's brother...sure he is not so flamboyant but a super mechanic and a quiet guy. FerrariinNYC..if you are on the upper west...Vinny is close..if you are on the east-side Joe Nastasi at Nastasi racing in LIC is closer...he and his shop are an expereince and can provide lots of indoor storage...Elite Auto stores the cars outside and only has room for at most three cars inside. I have used them all...

    Hey Tony...You cannot go wrong with Auto Elite and or Wide world .I have owned a number of 246's...Great little car.I work in manhattan and live 5 minutes from Wide World...Any quotes or inquiries on sevice call Justin at WWC...He lurks on this site to stay current.DO NOT order parts from WWC...too much mark up, try the usuals that are listed within.
    Where was that Dino shot taken, Did you paint the rockers and Valances yet.
    There is a great paint shop in Bedford called Northstate...he did a 100 point body off on a chairs and flairs of mine...he is one of the best in state.

    What side of manhattan are you on!

    I will try to answer a few questions that have come up on this thread.

    i live on the UES. BTW are any of you planning to do the manhattan spring drive on 4/30? http://www.empirestateregion.com/water-club-flyer-2006.pdf

    i bought this dino about two months ago from family classic cars in CA from barnaby brokaw. i drove it during a long weekend in january from san juan capistrano to palm springs over rt 74, which is where this pict was taken. there was a wreck in front of me so there was time to pull over. a pretty cool shot, no? here's the link to the fun part of the route, great curves, hills and mountain views. i highly recommend if you have a chance to drive it...

    it is a 72 gts sn/ 03794

    it was totally restored about 5 years ago. i'll try to scan the photos from the restoration. originally red and tan int. some very cool shots from the work they did to restore my dino, so i'll start a new thread b/c i'd like to know what they did myself!

    i have stored the car at bridgehampton motoring club for the year. good people and i would rather drive it out there, or somewhere well outside of manhattan! any other suggestions would be welcome.

    so that's it. i think it would be a great idea if all of you guys that own dino's in the area could 1. post a photo of your car and 2. think about getting together for a dino run this spring.

    there was a really nice guy on fchat a few years ago on LI with a gorgeous Dino 246 that hosted us all at his house for a drive out to the east end and we drove out through vineyards on the north fork..it was supreme....who was that great guy and what ever happened to him..is he still on fchat? Does anyone remember that ?

    Tom - I think you are talking about SOLLY (F-Chat name), Dr. Steve Soloman. He has a black Dino, and a white 360 challenge. I think he sold the 360 challenge though.
