    I have been watching the club newsletters and have not seen any announcements about an organized drive up to Monterey this year ? Auto Gallery ?

    I'm planning on leaving from Ventura early (like 6am or even earlier) on 8/19 and going straight to Concorso Italiano. Door-to-door it is 4 hours from my house. PM me if you want to make a run in the wee hours of the morning when the roads are clear.

    Biggest organized run to Monterey ever last year. 67 cars, this year they have 75 so far this year. Should be sweet!

    Heads up. I just made the drive up. The 101 is being repaved just north of King City. Everyone knows not to speed near King City, but today no one could. The highway is down to one lane for about five miles and slows everything down to a crawl. Also, the road from Salinas to Monterey was really choked up at 3pm today, Thursday. Not much alternatives, but allow time.
