    It was one of the best "car" times I have ever had! It was nice to see you again as well plus all of the extremely friendly people. I put it on my calender for next year. I am sure Doug will be bringing a car next year as well....you hear that Doug!

    Bringing the car is one thing, but driving it will be a whole nother issue. Doug might just be the first to take one of his cars on the Pig Trail.... on a trailer!!!!! I guess I will have to wait until Doug gets to the library until I get a response. :)

    Brian, it was great meeting you and Doug. I look forward to seeing ya'll again. Hopefully, we won't have to wait until next year's Crescent.

    My schedule is still a little hazy for Saturday afternoon, but it's looking more likely that I'll just have to join in for the Saturday evening cruise.

    Thus, I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what your plans end up being for the drive down and for meeting at Brian's, but I'll need to assume that I won't make it to Brian's (if I do end up making it, I won't plan to eat, to simplify things).

    I'm hoping that I can merely sign up and pay the entry fee somewhere on Saturday evening, but does anyone know for sure? (The Entry Form is available on the website; see the link in a post above.)

    So we can get some finality here...I can get away from Wichita by 2pm, that puts me in Ark city at approx 3.15p??? right? I would prefer to ride or caravan with someone since I don't know my way to the show or to Brian's place. What time are we thinking for dinner? What would you like me to bring?

    It looks we are not going to be able to get around the various time conflicts for dinner/meeting at my building so here is what I propose. The show starts at 8AM, Doug said that he will be there at 7am like most to stake out an area for all of us. I will let him know to rope off at least room for 8 of us. The show runs until around 5-6pm on Saturday (2 day event). If most can get to the show by at least 3-4pm that is fine. We will have a few hours at the show, then get in our cars, go for a great Cowley 20 drive and then go someplace for dinner. After dinner, we head back to Mainstreet which by this time is lined for about 2 miles full of spectators watching everyone cruise up and down the strip. About 500+ cars do this and is a GREAT time. The police block off the street just for the carshow cars to cruise. You must be registered to do this though so whenever your arrive at the carshow, please register...if you do not you will wish you had after seeing all the cars. It is very cheap as well.
    I hope this works since it will allow anyone of us to show up anytime.

    If you can come earlier, by all means let me know!

    ok.. what day.. fri or sat? I hear there is a cruise in winfield on friday night..

    I can leave Wichita about 5pm on saturday (maybe earlier)... where do I need to go??? ark city??

    The cruise in Winfield is pretty weak. Come on Saturday even if you get down late because the cruise is just crazy, the number of people that line the street is nuts. I bet 90% of Ark City is along the street. Just come directly to Ark City and give me a call on my cell 620-229-3143. You will get to town in time for a good run along Cowley 20, for dinner and then the cruise!

    I am "hoping" to be able to leave for Ark City by 5:00 on Saturday afternoon, but I might be a bit later.

    Comp-- I'll call you on your cell if I'm able to leave by 5:00, to see if you've already left.

    Brian- I'll call you when I get close to Ark City to see where the group is. I'll print off the Registration Form, and I hope I'll be able to pay and join the cruise even if I'm somewhat late.

    ok.... I will be departing Wichita between 5 and 6 pm...

    Darrell.. I know we disscused 1:30 but we just bought a boat and the wife wants to take it out..

    I say we all meet up at my place since I am right next to the turnpike entrance... say 5ish?

    you guys have my number.. give me a shout..

    I'm sure that once I get her out on the lake and my kids get tired of the big block drone.. they will be over it

    I'm sure that we will be home earlier than I expect..

    We will try to reserve spots for everyone. Cars will be leaving the show at around 5pm, this is when most go grab something to eat. If you guys arrive around 6-6:30, we will get something to eat, hit a Cowley 20 run and come back for the cruise. It will be a great time!

    Darell, if can come earlier, by all means do! You better be ready for some attention when you roll that LOUD Viper through the crowd!

    alright... disregard the lake.. kids are grumpy and the wife wanted to shop anyways...

    so Darrell and myself are departing Wichita around 2pm... Allen give me a shout and I can give you directions to where we are going..

    We should be in Ark City by 3pm at the latest.. Brian I have your number and will give you a shout once we are in town..

    BJ- I was planning to go south all the way to 166 (rather than taking 160 to Winfield and then south), but I'm not sure what's best.

    I believe Pacino says "Hoo-ahh." Had an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC time in Ark city with you guys. Darrell, compensating, good to meet you. Allen, good to see you once more. Doug, very brief meeting out the Countach window. Brian, Thank you very much. Not only for the run on Cowley 20 (I would recommend the run), but thank you for dinner as well. I greatly appreciate the hospitality.

    I have seen some TRs and at least one Daytona, I know of a 355 Spider and now a 355 GTS
