Any pics of a non mirror installed V1?

    hello all, does anyone have pics of a V1 hard wired from the map light & unit mounted above the mirror? I'm in Canada so I can't install it really deeply in the car as the commie cops may tear my car apart. Thanks.

    I didn't tie into the map light, but my V1 is mounted there.
    Your flat cord that comes with the V1 is long enough that you can get power from just about anywhere in the cabin. My cord sticks out a little bit from the head liner, I can tuck it in so the "commie cops" here in Canada wont find it.
    I will take a pic when i get the car back.

    Here's what I did
    The red wire is run into the radio ignition and thr black is of grounded.
    The phone cord runs from the radio area behin the fire wall ( passenger side ) and the up the pillar. As you can see the cord is not visible. The position of the detector is next to the mirror and not visible from most car heights. ( ie red lights at night ) It also gives me great frward and aft radar "visibility"
