I'm not sure I'd like to take up a pipe, but a few of the tobacco's I have been around sure smell good! Pipe smoking seems as relaxing as a cigar and a few pipes I have seen are beautiful. Any comments?

I've been smoking pipes for +20yrs. Trust me, there's a BIG difference in smoking quality between a cheap pipe and an expensive, well made pipe. My favorite brand is Castello (http://www.pipacastello.com/) or Dunhill (http://www.dunhill.com/). Secondly, buy a few pipes because you shouldn't smoke the same pipe for more than one day. They need to dry-out.

I smoke cigars more often than a pipe. However, I get more compliments on the aroma of my pipe tobacco vs. my cigar.
