Any recipe ideas for the fruit of a dogwood tree?

    The fruit on our tree is just starting to become ripe this season. In the past, I've just nibbled on a few. They're delicious, with a delicate & sweet flavor, but chock full of seeds, rough skin, and are fibrous (though rather creamy when fully ripe).

    Been considering making a glaze, preserve, or jelly with them.

    Anybody have other ideas or experiences?
