    I need some help with a Revelle model I have.

    I bought this model about 20-25 years ago. It is still in the shrinkrap and I would like to know its value.

    I little more about it is. The model is of a 69 Corvette. But, the kicker is that the box is misprinted. The way it reads is 1969 Chevrolet Corvette 429 Coupe. Now, Chevrolet never made a 429 only a 427. So I am thinking since I kept this thing for so long and never opened it , it must be worth something.


    Any model guys have any ideas.

    that model was pretty plentiful in its day, and quite a few sealed kits like yours come up on Ebay. From what I had seen, it's not worth much more than one without the misprint. If you want big bucks, have to hold on to it for several more decades.

    Thanks for the heads up guys, didn't know when I should have surfaced it. I did speak to one collector who offered me $125 . I think I may do just as carl63_99 said , hold onto it for a few more decades
