    Hey guys,

There is a 50/50 chance I am going to move into the Whidbey Island area in about a year. What shops are in the reasonable area to work on Fcars (namely 308s)? I would love to find a place a bit north of Seattle to reduce the drive time if there is anything.

    Thanks,
    Reid

During the 25 + years that we lived in Shoreline and Snohomish and owned the Boano and PF coupe, we only dealt with Ferrari of Seattle and with Carlo in Tacoma. We never found anybody else who could spell Ferrari, let alone work on one. Where are you going on Whidbey? We have good friends on Mutiny Bay and Langley.

Thanks for the info guys. That's what I was looking for. Mill creek - that's great, especially if I can safely get a Ferrari on the ferry across the Sound!!!

I'm a Navy type so I will be living somewhere reasonably close to the air station on Whidbey if I get the job up there. Still a considerable long shot.

I have to assume there are some fantastic drives in that area.

    Thanks again,
    Reid

    Reid,
Whidbey Is. is simply a beautiful area, as is Anacortes and the surrounding Skagit Valley. Good luck!!

The 308/328/Mondial series is in the 4x4 category when it comes to ground clearance, or should I say "overhang" clearance.

I brought my 308 over on TWO boats from Port Townsend the day I bought it and on numerous boats since, no sweat.

The ferry crews are pretty good about keeping a sharp eye on clearances when they see an exotic, especially when 10 or 15 show up.:p:p
