Bought my ticket for the Singapore GP today. I'm popping over from Hong Kong on the new A380 service. Never been to Singapore before but really looking forward to it!!!

failed! home at 3.30, alarm at 6.30 .. rolled over & back to sleep. shame as I was quite looking forward to it.

a bus. great sound when changing down but seriously that thing is all about being seen it, not driving it. the queen mary has a tighter turning circle.

how come? don't think I've been there before.

Yep, got to get a nice vantage point to shoot em @ corners. Actually those lambos are easily doing 200+ on the straights where I shot.

Crits? U do realise that this is not a photography forum & took+posted all for fun but please do tell me more about it via PM.

Didn't pay attention to that Audi & some others as u do get tired of all these flashy cars after a while but a nice vintage will still thrill me :) There was an R8 too but that CLS is one serious car. Heard it has about 1000Nm & very loud. He did a colour change & added bodykit too and has no problem keeping up with the V12s. There was a gutted racecar Aston Vantage nearby with a kinky Decipticon sticker on the door :D Didn't shoot it though.

Dude, u need to push it harder but not on Singapore roads. Try changing gears @ 5-6K & it's like a ballistic missile. @ that kind of rpms, you're easily in 100s & the sound behind u is deafening but simply dejavu! Otherwise, it is a boat when doing city driving with half the cylinders sleeping :D

I was running with some japs here early this morning where the N/S is quiet. There was a lovely S15 that I had & several Rexes + Evos. They are fast even from 150-200+ but they can't sustain for long, there is really no replacement for displacement. But big engines only shine on open roads & not necessary for tight cities.

Just started about three weeks ago; not every flight. The 10+ flight from Sing and the 4+ flight from Hkg. Just ask any question about SQ and the full time flight crew here on F-chat (ie. brudders lung & tiong) will be pleased to answer you...

yeh fair point .. can't really make a proper assessment on local roads .. that being said I rarely have to make hand over hand turns in the buggy whilst driving on normal roads here, whilst in the 640 it seemed like every 2nd corner. I'd love to drive it on the NS or some back roads as I'm sure I'd get an entriely different perception. in the end tho it doesn't meet my needs, and as I'm not a Gallardo fan I guess I'm safe from crossing over to the dark side for now.

great .. then you can tell your colleagues to stop interogating me on every flight I take to make sure that I am in the correct seat .. just becoz I am an ang mo with a chinese surname. I've even been to PPS to ask if they can put a note on the passenger list to that effect but they said it can't be done. On Wednesday's flight I was asked at least 4 times if I was Mr K .. once I can understand but honestly 2 hours into a 4 hour flight and they're still checking on me!

Well, that's a problem with the steering ratio that's hitting Lambos as they are 4WDs + weight.... turning circles are huge. I'd need 3.5-4 lanes to make a full lock U turn. It feels like a fast bulldozer when u step hard on it.

430 is very user friendly, a bit tail happy & lighter as well. Giving u more thrills for the experienced driver.

Ooh please don't take offence to that, i merely wanted to point out that in some panning shots, try to get the subject more in the middle. For instance, the LP560-4 Superleggera shot could have been more centered but if its only gonna come by once, that shot wasn't too shabby either ;)

I hope you weren't offended? If you are I am sincerely and most apologetic.

Huh? haha no lah. No offense & apology needed. Was just miffed with a guy juz now, can't stand low ballers :(

That was a take off shot so thought I'd give it more space up front.

ANyway, no time to learn photography these days. Can only PnS once in a while. PS is such a powerful tool that it turns crappy pics into brilliant ones but learning that software is worse!

Yeah me too. It is still one of the most iconic cars ever made and I can't bear to see any one of them being destroyed.

Where did the spring come from? Really unlucky for him. The crash was quite scary too, the whole car impacting with the safety tyres gave me quite a fright.

Oh sh#t! I just watched it. He must have blacked out after the hit. Check out as he stepped on the brake & accelerator @ the same time even after the impact.... very unfortunate.
