Hi, but I haven't been driving my 348 for the past few days. Could be someone else's you've saw. BTW, I have 3 scooters too including a late 70s Sprint V with PX engine. Did 130km/h on it but she was floating like a spaceship! What's this? I hang out with Alfa, Porsche & Subaru guys as well. In fact, used to hang out with Malayboys in those scooter days.
Really? Perhaps a case of mistaken identity then, but I could have sworn I saw red dice hanging on the rear view mirror. Ahh I ride a gilera runner to work everyday and keep the car for the nights / weekends. I hate driving when there's heavy traffic, but hey, who doesn't? Yeah it was when you met up with some alfa guys not too long ago...

Hey Isk, don't you sleep? Well, I didn't. Have been working through the night so I can take a break up north, would you be free to catch up for a drink/meal in KL? I was just checking some sites on Penang, Ipoh, Taiping & Cameron Highlands. Is the highlands worth a trip? Quite a few hours wasted going up & down from the highway. Yap, I have the red dices in my car, a tradition I carried over from my red SL. Also have a pair of white & black ones in my Merc. Maybe should get the blue ones for my 911
When are you coming up ? Anyways, the Cameron Highlands are fun for the family and very much fun for a serious driver in a 'serious' car. But I recommend to have the CH trip later since it'll take a bit of your time traversing up and down and the time needed to make it worthwhile while you're on top. And only do it on your way back to SG since you're gonna load up the car with veggies!!!
Bro, been there done that! Hell it was bloody fun drive. 100+kms of nothing but hilly, curvy, scenic, cloudy (4500Ft) , 30+/- degrees of S roads! Hardly any straight. it's not abt speed but handling, tyres, suspension! Could easily go over cliffs if u're 2 hot. I'm now relaxing in my Penang sea view E&O hotel with sound of waves & fireworks in distant Batu Ferringi! Sorry might give KL a miss. I've done abt 1000km in 3days! Will give a report on rds & f&b when i'm bk. Jon
