Thanks for the piccies Ultimo. Man...the 599 looks a bit sedan-ish height wise compared to the F40. Still quite a beautiful car though, the 599 is. The F40 ? Enough said!

yeesh.. the 599's back looks like the tail of a lexus sc mashed with a golf gti exhaust bottom. very 456-ish to me... they should've made it more rakish like the testarossa to compete with the murcie

i think the aston rapide looks the most beautiful of the entire aston range.. can we all say it's the prettiest sedan ever produced

btw anyone interested in pictures of the sole veyron in existence? just got back from london with a collection of shots

Called off. Where were you guys? Only Absolute & Ro1 turned up while I was on my way & lung had to attend to his son but it was raining all over.....Anyway, me went for a drive round the island but was depressing due to the weather & heavy traffic.

Guess what I saw outside Meridian Orchard? A yellow Dino GT4!! I was driving up slowly from it's rear & I thought it was a 70's Lambo due to it's wedge shape & square lamps but definitely something special & then I saw the chromed horse on the right! Cool :) Has the F shield above the wheel arch as well but should've gotten enamels. Unfortunately, didn't get to speak to the driver. How many of this are there on this island anyway? Anybody?

    sorry, I didn't get a confirmation, that's why I didn't show up.

The yellow dino belongs to a used car dealer that works out of his home in east coast rd, just can't remember his name now.... He has a 308 for sale as well I think. But I won't recommend him to anyone because he will always try to fix the car himself, and he's not very good at it. At the end, his cars always end up it a workshop. He's prices are not cheap either.

    Crabs next week I guess?

Edited: The guy's name is Tony Lim

Hey, it wasn't Tony who was driving but a familiar face I've seen before. I almost did the deal with Tony on the Mondial Cab but he backed out on his offer & wanted more. Anyway, not the worst dealer & not that bad if you have a lot of time to have tea & chat with him.

BTW, I saw a bad accident on the Nicoll highway near the curve @ The Plaza going towards the city. There was this Red Suzuki that crashed into the centre red plastic barrier & bounced off then turned turtle by the kerb. Quite a mess & I couldn't even make out the model. Is it Ignis sport? Had stickers & white wheels. Never be too gung-ho on a rainy day.

Anybody interested in ordering these racing helmets made by Bell Racing?

The yellow one has a Hans clip (What's that for?), @ Euro545 while the red one is Euro450 excluding shipping. If we can get an order of 3-6pcs, I can get discounts & if more, better prices. You can have either colour with/without the Hans clip. I'm not too sure about size fitments but I guess it'll be tough to exchange since the company is based in Belgium. I've sent them an email checking on fitment & if track approved.

They update me on their products.

Nice find! Those helmets are really sweet, but a bit pricey.

HANS stands for Head And Neck Support, and if I was racing again, it would be an absolute MUST. Look at the pictures here to see the difference with and without HANS:

    http://www.schroth.com/english/racing_start.htm

Also, maybe the chart here will help with choosing your sizes. However, you must understand that this is a very rough guide, and at the end of the day, only trying a helmet on is the best way to select one:

Well done! This forum is so useful :) Haven't really seen people wearing that though but I would rather save myself from getting paralysed! It's a whopping Euro775 for the Hans system http://www.schrothshop.de/product_info.php?products_id=58&cPath=3_11

I can get 30+% off on the helmets @ wholesale to share among us (hope the company don't see this as EU manufacturers are very strict on their prices). I believe it'll cost more elsewhere (+VAT) or if a shop ever imports them here.

Hey Phil, come'on your car's not waterproof? :)
