I think the team that scores the most will win, because the rules say that they will.

All kidding aside, I think that the Colts will win this one. Freeney is going to get Grossman rattled early on. The Colts defense will shut down Thomas Jones, forcing Grossman to resort to a very shaky passing game. Bob Sanders will have a big game and Manning will deliver an MVP performance.

I thought you said all kidding aside? You basically just said the Colts will play perfect? All Kidding aside, I predict Hester will score 5 touchdowns....2 on kickoffs,2 on punts and 1 pick of Manning.

    Nah...

    All kidding aside...

    Colts by 21-24.

The Colts are much better and the AFC, in general, is much better than the NFC. Also, the Bears defense is very overrated. I laughed when someone on ESPN was comparing it to the 1985 team with Dent and Hampton.

Actually, that makes me wonder something. How far out can you place a bet in Vegas on a team winning the Super Bowl before the season even starts? Any idea?

The Colts, 41-17. Manning will do what he did to the Steelers last year on MNF and throw a long TD pass to Marvin on the first play from scrimmage. Let the ass-whooping commence!

    My heart says Bears.

My head say Colts cause they have a much better QB.

Plus, the line is Colts by 10.

Right now on Bodog.com the spread is 7 in favor of the Colts. I think it will be a close game, and I wish the spread was bigger so I could bet on Chicago.

    Da Bears.

Can't expect Manning to have a great game two weeks in a row in the playoffs. He hasn't proved he's that clutch guy yet.

I don't figure him to play super, just human, and that won't be enough.

bears 20 Colts 16 in a snoozer of a game.

Tivo the commercials, skip the game.

The Buckeyes were 7 point favorites to the Gators. How did that turn out? ;) I think the Packers were 14 point favorites to the Broncos in the '97 season. Take Vegas with a grain of salt. Football team performance is a week-by-week thing. Just look at the Colts defense a few weeks ago til the wild card game. Anything can happen. All bets are off.

IMO, the game will come down to special teams. The Colts are horrendous in this aspect whereas the Bears are very good. Devin Hester will set up either great field position for Rex or just take it to the house.

Rex is going to choke like Chris Farley having another heart attack.

    Better bring Hurricane Ditka along.

Peyton chokes, remember? Rex doesn't choke--he's just Rex. He's too erratic for a defense to plan for. They don't know what to expect! :D

Btw, this is an interesting match up. Peyton is a Tennessee Volunteer and Rex is a Florida Gator. Peyton never beat the Gators when he was at Tennessee (before Rex was at UF anyway) so maybe this will be Peyton's first time.

You only able to 'choke' if you actually have some sort of positive potential that goes unmet! It can only get worse!
