I'd love to see a F348. Anyone close?
Any 599s around? Or going to be? I'd love to see one up close. Like from behind the wheel! 78 degrees and clear, gotta go ride, guys. Betcha can't catch me, Crawford!
The only reason you're faster than me is because you've got less drag with the top down! Yes, that is my story and, like so much velcro, I'm stickin' to wit!
Is there a Nashville/Brentwood area Ferrari meetup? I'd love to see some of the F cars here. I'm saving up for a house right now, but after that, it might be ferrari time.
I must admit that the co-efficient of friction from my head is approaching zero! Thanks for pointing this out to me. BTW, Robert (Vader) Biscan made an appearance at the office in the black/black Diablo roadster yesterday. Bad for business, all commerce halted immediately as the crowd emptied into the parking lot. Somehow, people seemed less excited about buying Civics after that! Will post pics when my IT guy rescues me from my digital ignorance. Hope you're riding on this gorgeous day.
Your yard boy wants to see the pics. He promised me he would clean the car after all the driving this weekend so it will be clean for you.
It's getting hard to find. The yard man drives the Diablo around, won't keep the car clean. Looks like he had a good time, though! Seriously, although the pic quality is mediocre, the car is beautiful and flawless. I keep trying to think of something I dislike about it so that I feel better about not having one. Can't come up with anything! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry. I've been awol. I'm in Nashville! I'd love to take a look at any of them (although a 348 is what I'm looking for!) Thanks, Chris
I saw a purple (cleaner than you'd think) SV on Nolensville Road at Hi-Fi Buys one day after work. Car was flawless and had 22s on it. That roadster is gorgeous, though. JC, is that the Metrocenter honda dealership? Didn't know you worked down there. I saw you driving the spider tonight down west end...made me miss driving by that car every morning.
What's the weather supposed to be like this weekend? I'm coming up, does anyone want to do a drive if the weather is nice? Jerry
There are a few Gallardo's and Murcielago's around Memphis. I have seen a Diablo here, but I don't know if it lives here. Ferrari's are rarer than Lambo's around here too. I think there might be an Enzo in Memphis as well, but not sure on that one?
I haven't heard of an Enzo in Memphis, but I'm pretty sure the owner of the yellow FXX is near the Tri-City Area. I think he owns a few Toyota dealerships. Correct me if I'm wrong. -John
Mike, I haven't seen him in years. His son took over the business and he is in California. If he is around he hasn't attended any event that I have been to.
We have a few Ferraris in East Tennessee, but mostly big-ole-pickups. Yes, big-ole-pickups is an official category around here...
mini_ferrari, I understand about the weather but if you come to Nashville let me know. I'm helping a buddy on Saturday but I'd sure try to break away for an hour to meet up. Chris
I recently obtain a '85 308 and was driving at approximately 80 mph on Humphreys Blvd in Memphis (45 mph), when I made a U-turn. As I looked into my rear view mirror hoping not to see lights, I began seeing a red car coming at me like at bat out of hell. He slowed down next to me and rolled down his window to say hello. (He was in a 355). So yes there are several Ferrari's in Memphis. To say the least he took off I attempted stay with him for a mile (90 mph) until I hit a red light. What a fun car.
