Seems like a decent price for a nice car. Seems like these older cars are headed nowhere but up in price lately. 1999 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider In Norton Route 123 Motors Its local to me and looks nice in person. Thanks Mike
F1 gearboxes aren't bringing the money that gated shifter cars get, but it does look like a good price, especially for the color combo and mileage. Tough to tell much about the cosmetics from the low res pics though. Does look like there might be an issue with the finish on the instrument panel-- perhaps a poor de-sticky job, or maybe just dirty. If I were in the market for a 355 Spyder and didn't mind an F1 'box, I'd want to know when the last major service was done, and by whom, and I'd run a CarFax & Autocheck to see what they come up with (they're by NO means the be-all, end-all in checking a car's history, but it's an easy way to check for obvious red flags). Hard to know what the future will bring, but assuming the bottom doesn't fall out of the economy, it seems like it'd be tough to get too badly hurt on a red/tan Spyder at that price, assuming it doesn't need $10k or more thrown at it in the immediate future. My pair of pesos worth...
Free vin check for obvious red flags. If the car has something major you can see it for free here. https://www.nicb.org/theft_and_fraud_awareness/vincheck
