Any TN events coming up?

I don't think there are any shows coming up in TN, but lots of TN and AL folks go to the Annual Italian Car Day in Atlanta that's coming up.

Of course we also have several TN folks coming for the TGPR track day Sept 4.

 

Mike, are there any more Saturday morning drives out of Huntsville coming up later in the year? I'm going to miss next weekend's (I'll be in Florida) and there aren't any more listed on the FCA-SE website.

I would think a "fall foliage" trip later in the year would be very pleasant......

 

None scheduled at the moment other than Aug 27. We normally have the "formal" ones just in the summer. We've done a "Spring Fling" before, going up into Tennessee having a picnic at Falls Mill and then doing a tour at the Jack Daniel's Distillery.

I like your suggestion of a Fall Foliage day, and we could do the Cave Tour that day also. But it's now too late to get it into the printed Calendar for September, so maybe for mid-October...

 

Time for another East TN drive/dinner. Anyone interested?

 

you all should come to chattanooga, i just put on a large Toyota MR2 meet here (the mini ferrari hehe) and everyone loved it. the sonics here in town really love to have car clubs stop by.

 

We had a major FCA-SE event in Chatt a few years ago organized by Larry Benson and others, including a private buffet dinner at the Aquarium, and a great country drive and picnic. Beautiful countryside, and a wonderful time.

 

hey if you all want to do something let me know, i've got connections at the aquarium, convention center, and a few of the hotels here in town. the mr2 meet went really well. and people here in town love it because they hardly see large groups of cars that are really nice.


also i think i saw you guys. i was at a tire shop on Signal Mtn. Rd getting some new tires and you guys pulled up behind the place for a little break.

 

That was a great event. I had a blast. If you are in Chattanooga I am surprised we haven't run into each other. I sometimes bring my 308 to some cruise ins or benefit car shows. I mainly stay in the Hixson area.

i come out to hixson quite a bit. i always go to amigos on 153 on Mondays and Wednesdays and other random things. other wise i'm always at Rythym and Brews downtown. I'm just up on Signal Mtn. Look for a Black Toyota MR2 Turbo. It will be lowered in the next week and I've got some nastied up wheels on right now (something ate through my polished lip, but I've ordered some new ones) but that would be me. We'll definatley have to meet up.
