Any tricks to replacing the front hood shocks?

    Haven't tried yet, just bought them...

    Looks like the undercarriage cover needs to come off?

    Bo, search and you will find tons of info on this site. Use of the higher lift force Mondial struts work great on my '86 Testarossa front and are highly recommended. Nothing "undercarriage" needs to be removed, but the panel held down with four small bolts in the trunk on the driver's side will sure help. EDoug

    Just did this a few weeks back on my 86. There is an access panel on the drives side in the same place as the battery lid on the passenger side. Pull the carpet up and remove the lid, you will need to raise/lower the headlights to access the mounts. It’s a pretty straight forward job, post back if you run into any issues.
