    I found a picture of this gorgeous old Bentley on one website without any information except a name and that name dosen't bring up any information on google when I do a search. I'm hoping someone can tell me more about it. Under the picture it was called a Speed Six Barker, but as I said, that dosent bring up anymore info.

    its a W O Bentley pre Rolls Royce year about 1929/30. 6 and half litre runnig 2 SU carbies.

    Not much more to add than what Mr. Bailey has already enlightened, except that the Speed Six was built from '28-'30 while the regular 6 1/2 liter dated from '26-'30. The Speed Six is definitely the rarer, more desirable one. Used the same basic 6 1/2 liter as the other, though it was actually more like 6.6 (6,597cc). Also, only 182 Speed Sixes were ever produced, alternately, 363 6 1/2 liters were otherwise produced.

    It is a cut-down special, not a standard Speed Six. Barker may have built first body on the chassis, but that doesn't look like a Barker to me. Bentley Drivers Club may have more info, I am pretty sure I have seen this car previously. There is one special running around that has twin turbos on it, obviously not period. Leno has at least one special. I'll look some more. HTH
