Cool, I love the thick, raw edge of the strap. Looks like a razor sharpening strap. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Before you know it, you'll have lost all your friends because you keep punching them in the back of the head and don't know why!
I wear the exploxer almost every day, and the santos for dress...I havent found anything else I really like. These two cover me. The santos is an automatic with the flat (not curved) face, I've never seen another on anyones hand. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I just acquired this 1950's Bulova Ferrari watch. Will go nicely with the "derelict 1952 212 Inter Ghia Coupe"... after all, they ARE from the same era. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80719 GRINNNNNNNNNNNNN Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love watches. It runs in the family. I just got a Baume & Mercier from my mom. I think thats a good start for a teen. I also have the usual Fossil watch that every other kid has. I have a Nixon. Probably the one that gets the most attention is the Apple Computer one from the late 90s.
Are you the f-chat watch guy? I'm interested in buying a nice watch, but admit I don't know the first thing about them - other than learning recently that Rolex sells battery/quartz watches for $10K, which struck me as being a bit like Ferrari making minivans. Is there a good basic education site (or book) I could check out so I don't make an expensive mistake? Thanks!
You might want to try watchuseek.com for more info. Also http://www.tic-tock.com/OurWatches.htm has a lot of watches you can just take a look at what you like.
I just found a good site for those (like me) with a taste for interesting watches, but a limited budget. Good information and reviews of watches. http://www.pmwf.com/cgi-bin/Forum/webbbs_config.cgi PMWF = Poor Mans Watch Forum, they discuss watches <$1000
Here is a warining for one vendor: DO NOT TRUST ASHFORD.com for watches (I know, I have been warned, but the sale was too good to pass up). I ordered a watch from them, a Rosso Chopard Mille Miglia. It came with the wrong band, the Dunlop tire one. They initially said to return the watch, but then they agreed for me to keep it when I told them I did not want to ship it, insure it, and wait 4 to 6 weeks. I also told them that I could switch out the band myself. They told me they would get me the proper band, the one featured on their web site. To make a long story short, they changed their mind after several weeks of phone calls. They decided to charge me $200 for the proper leather band with the red stitching (like the one in their pic), and said that I should have returned everything if I was not satisfied within 30 days, even after they agreed that it would not be necessary. I suspect that one of their employees switched out the bands before shipment. Live and learn. I will call Chopard and warn them.
Just got this one, an Oris Schumacher edition. The band is designed to mimic the look of an F1 tire. The watch is a great combo of titanium, stainless steel and carbon fiber. I wanted a big chunky 45mm watch. Panerai is next on my list. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was trying to figure out the blue "4" and finally realized it's a Ralf Schumacher edition. Great looking watch!
