Breitling is a favorite of mine...beautiful time piece and very under the radar...instead of announcing your watch as with a rolex

here is a Minerva made in the 40's that was sent back to the factory for a rebuild. They found a new old stock dial and the owner of the company Mr. Frey sent me a letter telling me the production info for this watch. Nice touch.

I just came back from my watch dealer (a close friend of mine) and he showed me a very special boxed 3 watch collection of GP's that just came in today. They're a special retrospective edition for the Ferrari 330/P4. The set consists of 3 beautiful GP's in a special box that's a limited run of 25 sets Worldwide (9 of which are on USA soil). He has the last available set (he tried to get another from GP, but they're all gone) and it's a stunning collection of pieces. One is Stainless on a strap, the other Stainless on a Stainless bracelet and the last one is Gold on a brown croc strap. Each piece is numbered (xx/25) and has an engraved F330/P4 on the back of the case.

Here's a couple of photos of the set...if any of you are interested in this very limited set (which has sold out), shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to send you directly to my friend who has it (as of this morning anyway). While it isn't an "inexpensive setof timpieces", I do know that I can help anyone who is seriously interested get a very good price on it.

Take a look...and sorry for the so-so pics. That's the best my Treo 600 could do! :)

Maybe Napolis needs those watches to go with his P4? :)

He's the first person I thought of and spoke to about these when I saw them this morning. He's a vintage Rolex guy though...which makes sense since he likes vintage Ferrari as well! ;-)

I just noticed the little latch on the presentation box. A little shift gate, how cool is that.

I think we share the same collection in watches, I also have S/S white Paul newman dial, white dial 6263, 2 white dial & 1 black dial Zenith Daytona (16520), white dial Rolex Daytona 116520, Explorer II orange hand, Submariner (red letter), I have a few Patek Philippes also.
I now own 328 and wanna buy a 512 so still thinking about selling some of the watches to finance 512.
    Do you miss your watches?

I don't just know him. We have been pals since college. I even played in a band with him. He's a pretty good guitar player! He's a genious with all things mechanical. That's probably why he is so into watches. Anyway, I'm wearing his diver's watch at this very moment. I got the first one he built and it's great. I'm not sure if he would extend his "good buddy" discount to FChat friends, but hey, I'd be happy to ask him if you see something of his you want.

I've only seen pictures, but the new face is awesome. I love the black face with red accents. I wonder what this will do for the price and availablity of the SS daytona. I've been trying to get a SS for a year now without any luck.

Figured somebody out three may know of this watch:

In the mid to late 80's Heuer made a set of titanium chronos. They had 3 styles:

    1.) All titanium
    2.) Titanium with gold accents
3.) Titanium with Carbon Fiber accents

(They also made a set of ladies watches and dress watches in same styles.)

I have never seen them for sale anywhere. I want the ti/carbon fiber one. The only made them for a few short years before TAG took them over. No Heuer shop I have called even know what I am talking about. (But then neither do some good watch dealers either!)

I have a catalog that shows pictures of them all and when I get back home I will post some pictures.

I really want the ti/cf watch and will pay good money (finders fee) to anyone how can help me find these watches.

    Can anyone help me?

I was told that it would be roughly US$20k which is double the S/S.
I don't think S/S is hard to find anymore as long as you are willing to pay a bit extra as there are quite a few around in Bangkok. I never have to wait for mine and I have 6 Daytonas already dating from Paul Newman.

Richard Mille's Tourbillion F1 watch looks sharp! It's a good price considering Tourbillion watch, but I have no idea on general perception of his watch. <http://www.westimewatches.com/richmille.html>

I'm still waiting on the release of Tag's LeMan watch. I have no Tag in my collection right now, so it'll be a good addition.

Yes, Jim, that one, too. However, it doesn't seem to be released soon. Do you have any update?
