    Hey gang,

    I'm off to NYC for labor day and have a reservation at WD-50 the molecular gastronomy resto. Has anybody here ever been there or any similar place. Thoughts?

    I'd like to try the Fat Duck & the other one in Chicago so I'd like first hand opinions on others as well.

    For me, molecular gastro is entertaining to watch on TV, but probably not my cup of tea. That being said, if I had to go to one, that's THE place from what I hear. Wylie Dufrense (sp?) is one of the pioneers of MG.
