    I used to own one in 1990 when they were still being built. They made about 8000 of them so it is not a low production number car but it certainly is of historical significance so it bares to ask if it would be eligible.

    Will have to call Dick tomorrow and ask.

    If anybody has any thoughts please share.

    It is a BMW historical significant car. The Z1 with its unique transaxle, the creation of "BMW Technik" in competition to "M" etc.

    Besides it is a sweet car :)

    I am getting one brought in.

    I saw one in Chicago downtown just about a month ago. Didn't see the plates so I don't know how it is here. Good looking car.
