I was thinking that this would be a bit different than the "typical" e30 M3 fun-hot-rod-sedan. I don't have a specific car I'm looking at, but I always liked them. They can't be a bigger piece of junk than some other cars I like.....or could it?

This would be used for driving around.

Seems like a good car, I think you found a picture of the Evo II version with the DTM wing and body kit.

The standard US spec car was much more subdued. I don't know a lot about them aside from the Cosworth developed 16v and I gather there was a 2.5L version we didn't get too.

    johnei is correct.

I owned a 2.3 16 valve and it was a great car......unless something specific to the unique engine, suspension or gearbox was involved in a repair. At the price they sell for today, are worth the $$ to operate.....just like the M3 of that generation.

The one you show is an evo. I used to drive (not to own) one quite a while ago...
Funny to drive, but in the wet you could drift even before starting the engine

These cars are running 'till they fall apart. One my friends got one, a 200D (2.0 litre diesel) and, the actual mileage is 1.560.000 km's...
