    Anybody experienced leak after upgrading Radiator cap.
    I got 1 but I was just thinking I might be creating new problems.
    My 81 is 25 years old and if the radiator or the header tank is weak....

    actually yes. i had replaced my .8 bar cap with a 1.1 bar and found a leak i traced to the rubber hose connection at the radiator. cranked down on the clamp but haven't driven the car to check it yet. the cap replacement did have a positive effect on the overheating problem.
