Quite a few pics of the young lass in the guys picture galleries. I hope they did not actually key the Ferrari, but if so, not very smart to advertise like that. I guess IQ goes down dramatically when you consume the vast amounts of alcohol and drugs as they seem to do and enjoy.

Does anyone know if the cars in the first picture were used in a VW commercial? A bunch of exotic cars were in the commercial alongside a mirror-windowed building, which included a 360 Spider that looked exactly the same. There was also an RR Phantom and Z8. I think there was a CGT, too. Anyone seen this commercial?

 

Speaking of Bentley Gold Coast: I went there yesterday on a stroll through the city and have to say - despite its reputation - I love that place! The sales room is so like an Italian Opera stage and the cars they had on display were all out of this world: F430, 360 Spider, 550, Bentley, Aston DB, Murcie, Gallardo.

Proudly I pointed out to Karen all the cars of this collection I'd be driving come June 24.

Had a nice little chat with one of the sales guys and he told me, that soon they'll be getting Bugatti as well including a couple of (already spoken for) Veyrons. But to get the Bugatti deal, they'll have to tone down the place into the ubiquous and sterile white box. Too bad. Maybe I can get a good deal on a fresco or a palm tree?

Yes, in my recent issues of the 'DuPont Registry of Fine Automobiles' magazine. They have two full page ads for Bentley G.C./Bentley D.G./Luxury Motors. And they have small pix of the cars that they have available For Sale, which do include a black & yellow Bugatti Veyron.

 

I'm just stunned by the Veyron. This is the ultimate Uebercar. Eats an Enzo for breakfast. The fun part is, that it is a bit like the XBox for Microsoft: VW actually looses money making them.

If you ever come across the Top Gear race between a Cessna and a Veyron from Italy to London, watch it. One of the best reports they ever did.

 

I just received my June issue of DuPont. And they have an article on the new 2006 Koenigsegg CCX supercar. Specs.: Pricetag: $722,500.00. 4.7 L Twin Turbo V8. 806 bhp. 678 lb-ft Torque. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. 9.9 second 1/4 mile @ 146 MPH. Top Speed: 245+MPH. Street Legal in the U.S. And available at "Exotic Car at Caesars Palace". But....not as fast as the 1000 HP Veyron. But hey. The Veyron costs twice as much....

It's starting to kind of remind me of the '80's again. So many of these really cool, truly "Exotic", extremely fast, very expensive, true "Super Cars" coming out. Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Spyker, just to name a few. Pretty darn cool! Just wish I had Bill Gates' moneys daily Interest, to be able to afford one!....

 

I bought an XBox 360 the other day along with a steering wheel, pedals and Project Gotham, which has nothing but supercars. The slowest Ferrari in the game is a 355.
