Anybody here order a Carrera GT...

I'm srtuggling with what the investment value of the car has to do with the purchase decision (a frequent topic of conversation here). In my book, if you want an "investment", buy real estate or invest in the variety of equity, debt and derivative markets. In my book, ANY car is a declining vaue asset and the purchase decision ought to be based on whether you want, can afford to run it, and MOST importantly, you'd still love it if its value went to nothing. Just my $.02.

 

Reminds of a jerk in high school who always had to pay someone to drive him around in his Porsche convertible; the kid could not drive a stick. When his "driver" could not afford to go to the same college as him, he fired him.
