I am buying two WWII replica motorcycles and was thinking if any f-chatters can do me a favor and take a look at them for me. See if they are worth it or not. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

This is a picture of the bikes. The guy says he does not have current pics and after the Aaron White ordeal I am very fishy of any guy named aaron:).

The guy selling the bikes his name is Aaron also, just my luck :)

One bike is in Howell and the other in Kalamazoo, MI.

I lived in Kalamazoo for 7 years and I"ve never seen any street like that....Although it was during college and a few years after, so my vision may have been somewhat impaired....LOL!!! Seriously, that does not look like Kzoo or Howell. (though I could be wrong!)

I live 10 minutes from Howell, MI, and know a lot of people in Kzoo, as I went to WMU... not sure about thier own knowledge of WWII replica bikes, but I can have them look at it for you.

PM me info for the bike in Howell.

Jim, that looks like the revised downtown area of Kalmazoo... seems like a never ending construction project out there... so much has changed in the last 5 years even.... and so much has stayed the same.

    yeah....

but, after looking at the photo some more, and going to the website listed on it, I don't think it's kalamazoo, but where the bike's are made in asia someplace.

I thought it might be near the one-way street that splits off of M43 that runs through downtown, as there is a lot of tarp, and construction in that area that never seems to end... near shakespears, or by the downtown shopping district.

as far as Bells is concerned...
they make special brews that are rarely available in bottle form.. they made a great 2 wheat beer a few years ago, and haven't seen it since :( I'm not the biggest fan of some of thier widely distributed beers, but Oberon with a slice of orange is nice. :)

The bikes are made in China, Close to Bejing I believe if I remember correctly. I was living in Shanghai for 4 years. There is many of these things running around. Many of my expat friends had them as they are easier to deal with in the city. Parts are dirt cheap for them and they sell for 2-4k. They can still be bought and shipped in. Dont let the old look fool you...chances are they are only a few years old, maybe just imported to try and re-sell to make a few bucks.
