Well, to disclose my thoughts, I don't believe he would, but I found the fact that he is considered (no smoke without fire...) rather ironic...

Ferrari are considering taking Kimi Raikkonen back alongside Fernando Alonso in 2013. The team believe he is a safer bet to do a better job than Felipe Massa than their other candidates, but president Luca di Montezemolo - who ousted Raikkonen to make way for Alonso in 2010 - is not keen, and the Finn has vowed never to work with Di Montezemolo again.

    Perfect.

I like Kimi and Ferrari far to much to want him in the second seat.

Just five more weeks of this sort of nonsense. :)

Do they start making new driver/team announcements after the August holiday?

Strictly speaking the teams should be prohibited from any racing related activity during the break other than "hospitality". How strictly that's interpreted and enforced is a matter of speculation. While decisions may be made during the break I wouldn't expect any announcements.

I'm getting tired of the Ferrari 2nd seat talk. Just pick someone that's not Massa. Yay, problem solved.

And with quick internet and powerful laptops, of course they can work from home (or their holiday destination...:)), up to a certain point ofcourse.

If Lotus keeps improving, there may not be much motivation on Kimi's part to do this - even if it were possible.

Like I said on the other thread, I think Ferrari could do better with Grosjean.

What about Heiki Kovalinen? His contract is up this year. He's won a race and at least would shore up points for the constructors championship.

I highly doubt this will happen, as I have heard Raikkonen owns a part of Lotus team.

    Don't do it Kimi. It's a trap.
