Don't know if this is the same guy but I use Vince from Dents No More, 562 896 8507. I use him on all the cars here at the shop. I won't use anyone else.

I'm sorry...but this needs to be said. If this is the same Rick that rolls in a trailer with a checkerboard flooring, you do NOT want to use him. He did my wife's Yukon, my H2, my Ferrari and my boat.

The Yukon came out okay, but it's white and they just did the bumper. The H2's paint became hazy after a year. The boat looks maringally alright. The Ferrari however was a nightmare: the paint didn't match and he had to re-do it three times...it still looked lousy and Damian sent it out to be re-done. The shop that re-did it, said the problem was the quality of the paint...an appalling lack thereof.

Mobile dent repair....great. Mobile body-work?...IMO, not if the vehicle is worth more then $5,000 Go to a shop where they have a dust-free room and all the equipment. Plus, if something goes wrong you know where that shop is. Plus, on an environmental level, spraying outdoors isn't right and just how good a job can you expect from a process that normally takes 2 days...down to 2 hours in your driveway? The inescapable conclusion, you get what you pay for. My 2-cents. :)

I've used Steve Brown, Dent Mechanix, and he's the best I've ever seen and getting rid of door dings. If you need bigger body work, I used Luke at Amazing Bumper and his work was also outstanding.

Sorry you work was not great. I have used Rick maybe 3 times for emergency repairs where time is not on our side. and the work has come out OK. My main reason for commenting on this thread was for Vince's Dent removal,

Vince at "Dents No More" is who Craig sent me to and he not only saved my ass from a rather large repair bill but he was on time and his work was perfect. There was NO evidence of a dent on the Benz that I backed into with my soccer mom car.

This is in regards to "Steve R" who posted his 2-cents inregards to "mobile paint and dent repair" of Huntington Beach. Steve R had 3 vehicles and a boat for us to work on, everything came out perfect the first time. The 360 Ferrari that Steve was referring to had to be retouched up because his mechanic did not align his convertable roof properly, Steve scratched his bonnet when putting it down. We went back to retouch it up after his mechanic realigned it properly and did not recharge him. The area shrunk-up because of to much material, we refunded his money back because of the issue, Steve R "vowed" he would not post anything about the issue because we refunded his money...I wonder what kind of Integrety Steve R has?? Six month later we went to Steve's mechanics repair shop to do two bumpers on two Ferrari's for one of our clients, we saw Steve's Ferrari there, we checked out the area that had been redone by his mechanics bodyshop and the repair was still inferrior. Mobile Paint and Dent Repair has performed many repairs of Ferrari's chat members with complete satisfaction, our company just wanted to clear the air on this matter. If we can service anyone please just give us a call!!
    Thank you for your time.

I'd believe the customer in a situation like this. And no offense to you personally, but doing mobile paint work is an inherently flawed trade. The only way to do proper paintwork is in a dustless spray booth that has controlled air flow and temperature. If you're mobile, you're going to be working in an environment that has dust and other environmental contaminates. Once that even the smallest speck gets in the color coat or clear coat, you've got a flawed product. There are some things you can't compromise on and resprays are one of those things.

Well guess what, they are working in my car as we speak! Maybe you would believe me as a frequent customer. I must use these guys 3 times a year at least. What can I say, I love to race. Anyways, I have NEVER had a problem with their work, everything has come out perfect every time. I should mention, I am VERY picky. Rick and Steve are so nice, their prices are unbeatable, their work is hands down, the best and I should mention the mobile service is convienent. I recommend them to everyone and no one has ever told me that I gave them a bad referral. Looks like allot of chatters have used these people and "Steve R" is the only person that has ever had a problem.

One more thing "STEVE R", if they were nice enough to give you your $$ back, your comment is messed up. What small company these days would ever give your $$ back?? You should take that comment down.

I actually need a little clear coat fixed.

    Let's do it! :D :D
It's about 2 inches s in diameter, the clear coat has come off.
Not a big deal, but it bugs the heck out of me, want it fixed.

I can post a pic tomorrow, forgot the memory card at home.

Sounds like Mobile Dent and Paint created a new screen name to defend themselves against a paying customer. Very classy. And I'm sorry, but as someone that has spent the past 10 years around various body shops, there's no way mobile painting can be performed to the level you're describing. The variables that go into perfect paint do not allow for an outside, 'mobile' environment to be conducive to a perfect finished product. It just isn't possible unless you've got a spray booth on a flatbed, which I've never seen. Mobile Dent and Paint can wax poetic for hours about how I'm wrong and that they have techniques that result in a perfect finish, but they'll still be wrong. I'm saying all of this for those that care about their car and need a respray, they should use a REPUTABLE body shop that has USI Italia spray booths and take their time to complete a job.

On the other hand, if you hate your car for whatever reason and you need a respray, enjoy using mobile body shops and their product. FWIW, I have no affiliation with any body shop, I'm a pro detailer that knows a thing or two about automotive paint.
