Anybody know what time the meeting between the FIA and the teams is supposed to be? I'm not too sure of the time difference from here to France but i don't have any news on the outcome yet i was just wondering if anyone else knew anything.

It is on Wednesday. Given the 6+ hours time difference to EST I'm guessing we'll have an update tomorrow morning.

However I wouldn't expect a "verdict" by tomorrow. Senile Emperor Mosley will take his time to be pompous and hold court.

I always saw Mosely as Dork Vader and Bernie as Emperor Dipsh$t. Anyway thanks for the info, i expect no verdict either.

Actually I didn't until the USGP. I even held Whiting in the highest respect. Time for a sweeping change now.

Yes enough is enough. I always thought Bernie was bit too dicator like and Mosley his lackey. Never cared for either of them much but i will admit to liking Mosely more than Balestre.

They said on Windtunnel the other night that the FIA has a press conference scheduled to take place at 3:00PM Paris time (9:00AM EST).

There may be something posted on the FIA website?

Hmm. Interesting. They wouldn't set up a press conference just to announce that they questioned the teams. That'd be pointless.

So what's the announcement for then? Probably to announce a ruling. However that only leaves them a few hours to hear the seven teams and make a decision. Not much time.

So I'm guessing, that Mosley & Co. already have made up their minds about what they're going to do, which is probably tell them they behaved badly and that's it.

    Good news in a way.

Sounds as though the jury has reached a decision before the defense has presented it's case.

Are they using the guillotine in France again?

I do know the teams met before they went to the meeting. Talk about a solid group. The FIA's really underestimated this whole thing. If they're smart they'll call it a wash and go on. Any penalties handed down other than a slap on the wrist won't be met with much applause by most F1 fans.
