I want to replace my o2 sensors, pre and post cat. Does anyone have a detailed step by step process with pics? This forum saved my butt with the convertible top, and hoping I can tackle this job next.

    Thank you

Unless you want to go in from the fender well, spend a few bucks on an O2 sensor socket at PepBoys.

They screw in and out like a spark plug. Use some anti sieze on the threads and you call it a day. Very simple.

I have a O2 socket but found it was not deep enough for the O2 sensor wires. Perhaps there is a different design that works better.

A 7/8 open end wrench is what I ended up using......

Good advice. Also, do not touch the sensor end on the new O2's, don't get anything on them like oil or grease as you can mess them up.
