Anybody watched Band of Brothers HBO miniseries?

Every time it's on.

 

Seen through full series one time but would love to watch it again. My have to invest in the series as a gift to myself for Christmas!

 

Loved it!

 

Starts out a bit slow for the casual viewer, but I'm a real avid WWII enthusiast as well as a history'nut so it's a pure joy to watch each & every minute. . .

 

Great mini-series! I watch it whenever it comes on tv, and would buy the box set if I had the cash.

 

I've watched it probably a thousand times already! Luckily there will be a new mini-series next year from the makers, called The Pacific.

 

Like others have said, every time it's on I have to watch it. Have seen some parts 10-12 times and still holds up.

 

Yeah ... great series! I watched it in one whole "Band of Brothers-fest" ... including the 2hr documentary.

A really crazy scene was when they were shelling the beachheads with the 16 inch guns and the shells were flying over their heads.

I don't usually get into the big TV serial programs, but BoB was great. I watched it all the time.

 

The only problem I had with Band of Brothers was the casting of David Schwimmer as the Captain... He was just wrong for that part... I mean, he did a good job, but I kept waiting to see Jennifer Anniston appear.... I guess I've watched too many "Friends" episodes.

I watched it the first time it aired years ago. I have the DVD box set, and I also have it in HD now. Great show.

 

Band of Brothers is my all time favorite Miniseries. I saw it for the first time when I was in 8th grade and it made such a huge impact on me at the time I had to get it for the closest holiday/birthday.. I still watch it every now and then.

 

I watched all of it at least 3 times. It made me just that much more obsessed with anything to do with WW2.

Garnere (sp?) was easily my favorite character.
