One of my laptops wont start and keeps resetting itself. I want to just erase it all and start it over clean. Can someone help me out? Antony
If it was my laptop and I didn't care about keeping the current data on the hard drive, I'd just set it to boot from the CD-ROM via the BIOS. Then throw in the Windows XP disk and let it boot up and either re-install/format the drive or do a repair. If it won't even boot from the Windows CD without restarting over and over, then I'd have to say it's either a Hard Drive issue or motherboard. Next step is to pull the hard drive and try the same thing, if it boots on the CD with no HD then it's the HD. If not, hope it's under warranty. Good luck, -Jesse
