Anyone able to photoshop? I'd love to see what a car would look like with the front end of a 430 and my 355 from the windshield back. The attached photo has my 355 in the foreground and a red 430, parked at close to the same angle two cars back. Both have the same rally graphics on them.

From the windshield back, I love the look of the 355 but the front looks a little dated. I'd just like to see what it would have looked like if Ferrari had gone this route with the 360/430 design.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the attempt. Personally I like the looks. The 430 front may be slightly out of scale with the 355 mid and rear as overall the 430 is a bulkier vehicle, giving it a larger "nose", but overall as a design concept I like it. If it was production, there would have been some rescaling done to balance it better.

I love the side vents on the door of the 355 and like how it matches with the front vents of the 430.

Certainly looks interesting.. Though IMHO the 355 is far more beautiful than a 430 the way it is.

Aside from the debatable aesthetics (I personally don't find it that offensive) I am impressed with 4REGT4's mastery of MS Paint. That's a heck of a fine job! Just curious: how long does it take to do something like that? Is that a 10 minutes of mouse work kind of thing, or is it hours of painstaking detail work to get it to fit correctly, paint to match, etc. ?
Now I wonder what a 275 GTB4 nose would look like...

Literally took me about five minutes once I found photos to use. Can clearly see how quickly I hand cut the 430 in MS Paint and didn't even clean it up. Also left the image grainy due to poor MS Paint resizing. Spent about 1-2 minutes in GIMP to help match the color a little better. I'm capable of far superior editing, but didn't see the reason for this.

I had originally posted the idea as there has been a popular thread about replacing the pop up headlights with flush mounted ones to give the 355 a more modern look. I personally believe that the overall design is timeless but the "pop ups" do date it.

In looking at the flush mounted designs, I just wanted to see the 355 with flush mounted lights but a more rounded look to the front fenders such as a 360/430. While simply just putting the two parts together isn't really the way to go, it does give one an idea of where the design of the 360 could have gone if Ferrari had kept the rear of the 355 (IMO is better looking than the 360 rear) and modified from there just as the did with the 348 to the 355.

Since it didn't evolve that way, its just something to talk about.

Thanks to 4REGT4 for doing the photoshop work.

Still wanna see it with a 250 GTO or a 275 GTB4 nose. It would either be sexy as hell, or a horror show.

When you hit the Reply to Thread button and get the box to type your message in, scroll down a bit and you'll find another box called Additional Options. There's a button there called Manage Attachments... hit that and you'll get Select File buttons. Hit the top one and that will let you grab a photo from your computer... hit Upload and give it a few seconds. If you have more than 1 photo, hit the next Select File button and repete process. When you're done hit the Close Window button at the bottom and you'll be back at the Additional Options page. Hit the Submit Reply button... but make sure it's the one below the Additional Options area.
