Anyone attending the Morgan Adams Concours?

Are any fellow 'Chatters planning to attend/bring a car/bring a plane to the Morgan Adams Concours?

I'm a volunteer for the show this year, and I have been let in on a few secrets about this years concours. All I can say is: show up! You will not be dissapointed if it is your first show, and if you've attended before, expect more than last year!

My wife and I will be there. The cars are always very cool but the opportunity to see the aircraft up close is very special for us. I had never had a chance to board an executive jet until this event and there were several! The vintage airplanes make what we do with vintage cars look like child’s play. The beneficiary of this special event should be mentioned too. All of the event proceeds are dedicated to pediatric cancer research. Amazing toys, great food, wonderful people and the worthy cause all combine to make this event a “must do”. We will have our 1920 Bugatti there

Jim Walters, President of the Rocky Mountain Region of the FCA is helping with automobile portion of the concours. He may be able to help you also. Just a reminder that the Morgan Adams Concours is this Saturday the 26th. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Purchases can be made from the web address shown above. Photographs of prior events can also be viewed on their site. The event opens at 5:00PM. I believe that the fly-bys, which have become a tradition, will be around 6:00PM. I hope to see you there!

Hello Derek, Yes the little car is great fun. Every time I drive it I'm suprised at how well it actually works as a car! BTW, I will start polishing the copper tonight in hopes of having it done by Saturday. I would love for you to come by and help. I really need to figure out how Tom Sawyer did it.

 

i came out for ferraris in aspen this weekend, and my horsie is arriving tomorrow. is the morgan adams here?

Actually, I wish I would have read your reply sooner. I think polishing up the copper on your Bugatti sounds kinda fun Can you tell I don't have quite enough "experience" with the old stuff?
