With just over a month to the Moto Gp race at Sepang, iam just wondering if anyone can answer a question i have about the access over the race weekend.. I have been to Sepang for the F1 and Japan Gt in the past. I did not like the views from the main grandstand, just straights and a hair-pin (which you are on the inside off so u can only see half of it at a time), and K1 view is a slow section, good for the race for over-taking but not very exciting for the whole weekend..

On the Sepang site there is 2 types of tickets for sale, Main grandstand tickets and K1 (1st corner) tickets, can anyone tell me if you are allowed access in to the other sections of the circuit ( K2, C, D, E etc) if you hold a ticket for Main G-stand or K1, or are the Main G-stand and K1 the only areas open during Moto-Gp weekend !!!

the tickets are cheap, so i was thinking of buying tickets for both sections if the rest of the track is out of bounds... any other advice is welcome !

    thanks

    Charlie

ps. hope i made my question clear !

i haven't been to Sepang for the Moto GP before, but i'm an F1 veteran there :D

anyways, in F1, they will check your tickets at the entrance, before putting the wrist band around your wrist. and each section consists of diff colours. so my guess is no. you have to buy the particular section u wanna view the race, and just watch from there i guess.

what about the 'G' section? personally, for me, thats probably the best view of the track.

Well thats the trouble Brian, the only Tickets that are for sale are for the Main Grandstand (Mall) or for K1, i dont fancy being stuck in either for the whole weekend..

I Remember from being at the F1 at Sepang that they are very tight with admission to different sections, even on Friday when the place is empty, even a bribe did not get me anywhere ;)..

The tickets are quite cheap, Main G-stand 80rm, K1 30rm, so i might just buy a ticket for both so i have choice ;)
