Especially how he (or she) managed to stop from falling over the top... // Peter Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
errrr........ is this possible? in order to even got up the bump, there had to be a bit of speed, and how did it stop so fast on slick wood? Photoshopped? I want the story.
too much ale, hmmmm...no, the drive should have had one more so that it would have landed on it's side! Now that would be deserving of bragging rights. "if your gonna screw up don't do it half azz - do it really good".
The Ferrari Pic makes me think back to the Road and Track pic of the 512BB in the trees on the side of the road. Caption for this pic: "Good brakes, but not GREAT brakes."
License plate with ST = Simon Templar, "The Saint"! Did anyone notice Roger Moore hanging around? Val Kilmer?
It has been lifted out there by a crane for some kind of photoshoot I would imagine. If you look carefully, there is no angle from where it could get up on the rough. The wall is to high.
No, Jonas, look at the photo of the front, showing damage to lower left. It looks like the guy got to the low wall in the foregorund and jumped it while turning! You can see drag marks on top of the wall. Not sure how he jumped the air to get to the roof. If you're drunk, it'd be easier! I think a crane would be the best idea to get it OFF, however! Nylon slings please!
The wall is low Jonas. But im wondering why that building didnt fall? It looks like its under enough pressure.
I don't know if its a fake etc, but notice one side of the shed never appears in the photos. Maybe there is a ramp or maybe the shed is built right up to a hill. The direction of the car does not prove that's the direction in which it got on the shed, maybe jockied around a bit.
No...because then it would have broken through the roof of the building. A 3,400 lb. car falling from the sky......NOT good
I thought the R&T caption was something like "Good tires" Bob mused "but certainly not great tires"? I still have that issue somewhere. Anyway, whatever it was I was in my mid-teens and fell in love with the 512 BB around that time. That's why my first Ferrari (hopefully next year) will be a 512 BBi. After 20 years of Porsche's it's time to move up First post, BTW, after a year of lurking!
