I was on the circuitcat site looking for something else and thought I'd post this for anyone considering the race in May. Definite savings if purchased prior to the end of November. Second price break is thru end of February, regular price from March 1st onward.

    Race is scheduled for May 7, 8 & 9, 2010.

Here's the link, (I tried to copy paste the table but to no avail, sorry)

    from the website:
New sales channels opened. Simplified price range and increase in presale discount, the main innovations.

As of this week onwards, the main sales channels for the Spanish F1 Grand Prix, planned for 7, 8 and 9 May 2010, will be in operation. The biggest innovation is that the prices and spectator areas have been revisited to make locating the grandstands and their prices easier. The list of eleven prices has been reduced to seven. The first presale discount has also been increased from 15% to 20%.

    The sales channels in operation
The Circuit has adjusted its price range to the latest current financial climate. The price policy has been adjusted especially in the cheapest areas, such as the Pelouse or General Entrance. In the two presale periods, which we could call Q1 and Q2, to use F1 terminology, the Pelouse is under 100 euros, 88 euros if purchased before 30 November and 99 euros before 28 February. Grandstand P is at the 2009 Pelouse price—136 euros presale. Another example is Grandstand G, which was previously divided into two areas with two prices, and now has a single price, the same as the neighbouring grandstand, C. The covered Grandstand M and Grandstand L have also merged prices.

The first presale period to 30 November has a 20% discount. The second presale period will end on 28 February 2010 with a 10% discount.

In Spain, the channels activated are the ServiCaixa bank offices and online network, El Corte Inglés stores and Ticket Master, which includes FNAC stores. Also through the www.circuitcat.com website.

For France, sales will be made through two of the largest ticketing agencies - France Billet and Ticketnet, and for Belgium through Ticketnet Belgium.

For the British market will be new agreements with other ticketing agencies as the Circuit de Catalunya also collaborates with over 200 ticketing agencies worldwide.

Yeah, I posted a link to that when we received their email....should be interesting to see what happens now to Spa. I was looking for LMS stuff on the cat site so while I had the site, up I posted the F1 info. FYI, the Ibis Hotel adjacent to the circuit is showing no availability for the F1 race.

Wonder what will happen to ticket sales when the Alonso to Ferrari announcement is made!

That's what I'm waiting for. If Alonso's at Ferrari next year then I may well head over to Barcalona. The racing may not be great, but I reckon it'll be a great atmosphere.
