Hello guys I have recently took delivery of my F430, I traded my 360 CS.

Today my F430 ECU's arrive via FedEx. Eurotek just tuned them yesterday and I am so excited. I had them tune my CS last year and the results were truly amazing, the car had so much more torque and they raised my RPM limiter to 9,000 so I can hold gears longer.

I really wanted to be over the 500hp mark when I compare cars like the AMG 55 and 65 and Gallardo, ego thing I guess lol.

Well they advised me that the new remap may scare me and Ill have to get used to it, I cant wait! For any 360 owner I wouldnt even doubt tuning the ECU if your going to keep the car, it really needs it.

I already installed a FUCHS Sports exhaust and love it the new 4.3 liter has so much more torque than the 3.6 motor, sound is amazing.

If you guys want some feedback Friday or Saturday Ill get the car all together and go for a good test drive.

    Cheers

    Robert

Very interesting. Did you have any dyno work on the Stradale? Sounds like they just increased the rev range (their advertisement stated increases on standard rev ranges).

Hi Willis they did much more than increase my RPM range. Off the line there was always a flat spot coming out of first gear I always thought it was the clutch slippage and this was eliminated and was smooth throughout(throttle body positioning)they said.

I never had the car on the dyno because of fear of someone ruining it and I am not racing the car.The Stock Stradale was fast, versus the 360

After Eurotek Tuned it the car would break loose even up to 4th gear 7,000 RPM it was such an improvment that you have to learn how to drive the car again.

I think the baseline numbers they list are very conservative because the results were just mind blowing. They did one of my partners Maserati sedans as well and I was very impressed when I was a passenger in that car.

Eurotek said my F430 is going to blow the CS away in all areas my private tech is installing the ECU units now at the house I cant wait!!!!!

Ferrari for sure detunes their road cars because results on a normally aspirited engine are marginal, here they are substantial! I for one was very leary on messing with the CS since it was pretty good out of the box until you get blown away by a Z06 or Twin Turbo 996 it was a bit shamefull.

What made me feel comfortable was they offered 100% return policy if I dyno before and after and they didnt even charge my AMEX until I had them installed and was happy. When I tuned my Porsches over the years it was pure hell and I will not mention names.

I will report back later this evening on the F430 results, I am sure traction will be my next enemy so I will play with the PSI on the tires a bit and may even have the suspension geometry altered.

First observation the cars throttle response now is just so sensitive as the clutch grabs and throws you into 1st gear.

I got onto A1A North and was only able to get into 3rd gear. I full throttled the car from 1st to 2nd and the rear broke loose around 6700RPM but not to the point of me being nervous, the tires held on just fine.

continued north and really played around with the 1-2-3 shifts it is just amazing, the FUCHS muffler sounds so much better as the engine revs out quicker, FUCH’s is actually the same as CARGRAPHIC for anyone who never heard of them.

Once traffic eased up Onto I95 toward St Augustine was my direction, windows down the car was just a delight, the torque is staggering that you can actually enjoy holding the gears longer, I was more curious on my midrange to top end area so I only saw the 9,000 a few times, there just is no room during the day to exercise this car.

I tell you the traction really was good, tail went a bit loose several times but not like my Stradale, I would have to lay claim to the curb weight difference. Did the car scare me? Yes it is going to take some getting used to, if it was a F430 CS I would have never tuned it for fear of loosing control.

Well a few hours in the car when I got home I was simply NUMB. Between the sound, adrenaline rush and focus I am drained. However I am still smiling and want to jump back in. This car would be truly enjoyed on a cross country trip. I await to drive South to Miami to have some fun with all the Gallardos I see.

Not inexpensive that was what I paid for my CS, the F430 is actually more they gave me a discount.

But who else is there that actually does this work? The F430 is so new they claim to have tuned 19 of them worldwide.

I think its well worth it rather than spending $ on mufflers, headers and body kits etc. Car is flashy enough for me.

Considering I personally am not into body kits and big wheels I am done with my car for now, if anything maybe some suspension tweaking.

I have paid over $5,000 for my Porsche Tuning but these cars are $250,000 plus cutting corners would downright scare me. Talk to them if your serious and can get a few others in I am sure they will work with you.

Report back next week after I drive more this weekend!!!

Post some pictures of your car....love to see your new F430.

Frankly I was interested in the Eurotek chip based on the ad, but felt it was a scam since trusted sources each told me NO WAY on the performance gains. In other words, if it could be done, Ferrari would have done it!

Effectively has a upgraded ECU vs the 360 as apart from engine being blueprinted its essentially the same right, so one must question how much more is possible from the ECU alone ?

If you guys are really interested in this upgrade you should call Phil at EuroTek. He seems like a really great guy and he will answer your questions all day long. I have spoken to him at length multiple times and he has never hesitated to answer any questions I had and was always as helpful as he possibly could be. I have even had a friend of mine call, who also upgrades ECU's and he said "wow this guy really knows what he is talking about, he is the real deal." Granted this does not tell you specifically about his upgrade but he has done a sufficient enough job in making me feel comfortable with trying his upgrade on my fathers Stradale, which will hopefully be done in the next few weeks. Do yourselves a favor and give this guy a chance by calling him and asking him the questions you are posting here... he is the professional.

Hello guys been crazy down here with the storm coming haven’t had much time to drive over the weekend.

In regards to warranty no it will not void it:
They apparently are coding experts and manipulate the units to appear as OEM. I am not an engineer on this I suggest you ask them.

That was one of my fears with the CS but after many phone calls, emails and detailed photos of how they do this I was confident enough.

I was actually given there name and details from an authorized Ferrari dealer before recognizing them in FORZA. They apparently work with a lot of dealers.

This is a great post because many of us are excited about the huge, promised effects of EUROTEK ECU remapping. For a 550-575, EUROTEK claims an astounding, additional 100 ft/lbs of torque. Only way I ever got that kind of increase was by spending $18 K to supercharge my BMW M5.

I'm motivated to go EUROTEK because I wanter more lower end torque in my 04-360 F1 modena. Another 55 ft/lbs, as claimed by EUROTEK would definitely produce seat of the pants recognition, while simultaneously smoking tires in 2nd (as additional, sight + sound proof).

Kevin of NAPerformance has been admirable in his representation of EUROTEK and my only personal request has been to see the pre- and post-dyno charts -- which they have -- showing HP and Torque gains all along the rpm band. They report maximum HP and TQ figures on their website and in Fora --at flywheel, not rwhp -- which is fine, but the discerning customer wants more specific information. For example, DINAN provides such for all models, pre- and post, and it's just the professional thing to do and have available when discussing this subject.

Would love to hear more experiences from truly informed customers of EUROTEC as I think I'm about to jump on the bandwagon.

In case you guys missed, we're having a groupbuy on it. We have had alot of people doubt the claims despite the money-back gurantee. However we'll be dyno'ing a car in Texas soon and will post videos of the dyno to claim authenticity.

And remember the deal is 100% moneyback. If you feel it's a fluke, send it back. Although after selling over 10 of these I have not had to deal with this yet if that says anything.!
