I'm working with HRE to get a set of rims for my 355, but all the pictures they have sent me were of 18s on 355s. I just want to make sure it doesn't turn my car into a 4x4 with 19s and stock suspension.

any pictures of anything would help.

    Thanks

I bought these 19" HRE wheels for my 355. The fronts are 225 (not 355 as stated in ad)

So when I say stock suspension I mean you haven't touched it. Like lowered or anything. Just want to make sure it would have a huge wheel gap.

You realize the stock suspension is adjustable for height, right?

Spring collars are adjustable so you can set ride height, but it affects the alignment. You have to set ride height (and corner weight, if you choose) first and then align the car.

You also realize that changing the rim size should not change your wheel gap at all? It doesn't matter if you have a 22" rim or a 15" rim, you size your side wall height accordingly and keep the same overall diameter of tire. It should not change the height of your car or the wheel arch gap at all.

Maybe it can be taken as an age issue, but I'll be kind and say they look "less than optimum", besides adding to unsprung weight, and making tire/wheel damage more likely, and making the ride less pliable.

I did 18 in front and 19 in rear - maybe my NSX influence but I personally think 19 looks too big in front.
