    I've never seen it but was wondering if anyone has put their raised white letter tires on the outside showing the mfg. similar to F1 , etc.

    What tire brands still make those?... Would be really nice for classic, or modify or race replica Ferrari?

    Any unidirectional tire will have the "white leters" on one side of the car, and the "plain" side on the other.

    Why not? are the tires unidirectional?
    Are the tires black in both sides?

    F-1 cars have white (Yellow, red) letters on both sides. Or do you think that they make tires specific for each corner of the car?

    Get hold of some white rubber and a stencil set and cut your own out then stick them on.

    Huh?? You may get away with 'whites' on a 365 GTB/4 or a track-only F40 LeMans, but any other Ferrari may render the look out of place.

    Interesting , it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Also seem to believe that other folks who answered this thread either are to young to remember or just don't know. I have 2 sets of tires , 1 set of Goodyears 205-70-14 with RWL (raised white letters ) on one side and I have a set of Firestone's 235-65-14 with RWL. Also all tires are not directional so the funny comment on one side black and one side white is cute. As far as F1 yeah they are for TV show and now days you don't need a white or yellow pen to get the look. Back in the 60's we needed a tire pen for those Goodyears mounted on the Cragers which were mounted on the corvette. Some day the ricers will start the trend again so stay tuned.
