The last few months I've seen some very intriguing articles on the Noble M400. Anyone here seen one, ridden in one, driven one?

I haven't seen M400 in person but there is a Noble M12 GTO-3R that resides in the town north of me. I have seen it around town and it is a great looking car. Here is a link to an article which reviews the M400 which maybe you haven't read.

also if you want to know more about Nobles you can go here:

    http://www.nobleforums.com/index.php

There are a lot of Noble owners there who can answer all of your questions. Some have very few problems others have had more.

Also here is a link to the main distributor for Noble in the U.S:

    http://www.1gracing.com/

It is a good site that includes articles on both the M12 and the M400. You can also learn all about the ordering process there too.

That should keep you busy for a while. In the meantime have you taken delivery of your F430 yet? I am sure it will be a wonderful car.

Here are some interesting comments from a friend...

    >>Either of these cars: Atom, Noble, etc are only
"street legal" if you go the specialty-car (a.k.a.
"kit car") route, at least in California. Which means
you wait until Jan 1 of each year and hopefully get a
certificate that exempts you from smog testing. They
only hand out 500 per year and they're usually all
gone the morning of Jan. 2. Though the car does still
need to be inspected by the DMV for indicators,
headlights, fender coverings (an issue for the Atom),
    etc.

I was seriously looking at an Atom for a while, but
got scared off by the quasi-legal nature of the whole
arrangement. Additionally your kit car certificate is
not transferable so it becomes a hard proposition to
sell one, at least within CA.

Does anyone have a registration address in WA? Based
on the number of Nobles/Atoms/etc that come out of
that relatively non-populated state, I would guess
their kit car registration laws are pretty lax.<<
