    Starting to plan my trip to Charlotte for the annual meet? Anyone driving down from the New England area? It's about a 14 hour drive so we will probably try and break it up. My reservation at the Ballantyne is Saturday to Thursday. I have made several drives to Atlanta and prefer the Interstate 84 to 81 to 77/74 route.

    Hi Mike, Tricia and I are driving down. We've driven to FL several times and always take that 84/81 route to avoid 95 until we pass DC. We are also booked Sat. to Thurs. at the Ballantyne. I know Michael is booked but I haven't checked with him when he's driving down.

    We will overnight somewhere. Trica can't do 14 straight hours in the car. :D

    We signed up and are in the same timeframe. But assuming the creek doesn't rise and work complies, we are a go.
