Anyone else a 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' fan?

it grew on me, didn't like it at first. don't care for this season, seems a little off. LOVED Richard Lewis on it.

 

HELL YES!!!! Larry David is my hero. I have the first three seasons on DVD and they've just started showing the fourth season in Australia. I loved Seinfeld, so I knew I'd have to give CYE a chance.

On the subject of sitcoms, any Arrested Development fans here??? Another fantastic show.

Yes great show. I've been watching it from the beginning. This season Jeffs wife wasn't as good as the other seasons. There wasn't enough of "you bald f**K", and "you fat f**K". She would really let Larry have it.
And don't forget the classic "stare down"

 

I really love the show. It holds the number 1 setting on my Tivo Season Pass. However, I thought last season was a little weak. The new actress playing Jeff's wife is not as good as the original and the stories were not as creative.

I am hopeful that next season will be better.

 

I have every single episode on my HD, including the latest season.

I have been a fan since day 1!

 

I just discovered the show this season - its fabulous - great acting and awesome humor!

 

Well, it actually isn't quite scripted. At least the dialog isn't. The actors are given a basic outline to follow so when they well, 'action' the actors just improvise the 'script' until they get a take that they like. Larry David writes a 5-7 page outline for each show and doesn't always tell the actors what the entire story is until it's all been shot.

In fact, when he and Richard Lewis have scenes together Lewis never knows what is going on. So when one of them says something really funny and the other laughs its not because it was writtem, rather it's actually genuine. Sounds like a load of fun to me!
